Have Courage And Be Kind To Yourself
After navigating the emotional and psychological complexities of a challenging period in my own life. I found a new sense of purpose and direction in my healing journey after experiencing first-hand support, kindness and understanding through counselling.
This very personal and transformative experience ignited my passion for helping others facing their own mental health struggles. Understanding first-hand the impact of personal adversity and the effects it had on my day-to-day life and my close family and friends. It felt like the natural thing to do after my own therapist asked me ''what's next?'' to which my response was ''I would like to learn these skills and share them with other people who may need them''.
Since then I have trained and qualified as a counsellor, working, and advocating for a trauma informed practice, however, healing really starts with offering kindness and compassion to ourselves when we are experiencing difficult and challenging life circumstances.
Reaching out for support takes immense courage but it also offers a chance for change and to live the life that you deserve and imagine. Courage starts with showing up and allowing ourselves to be seen and heard without fear or judgement.
If you would like a safe space to talk that offers awareness and compassion then please get in touch as I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your own journey of kindness, compassion & self-discovery.

Client Testimonials
Psychotherapy and CBT offers empathy and support alongside evidence-based strategies to those looking to improve their mental well-being. My journey has deepened my commitment to walking alongside people - to support, guide and empower them through their own difficulties, reminding them of their resilience and personal power and that they know themselves better than anyone else.
Taking the first steps towards seeking therapeutic support is an act of immense courage. It is a journey of self-care and empowerment. Whether you are facing life's challenges, seeking personal growth, or simply needing a safe space to talk, reaching out for help is a powerful testament to your strength and resilience. Courage starts with showing up and allowing ourselves to be seen and heard without fear or judgement, offering kindness and compassion to ourselves when we are experiencing difficult and often traumatic life circumstances.
I have a special interest in men’s mental health as I have two sons and two brothers and I understand the difficulties of reaching out for support when society conditions us to ''man up'' or ''pull our socks up!'' I also have a special interest in women’s hormonal health such as perimenopause and menopause due to the journey I have personally been on to find my balance with mother nature and my hormones.
I have extensive experience of working with trauma and always offer a trauma informed approach, I believe the person who has experienced the trauma is the expert on their trauma but I can believe, guide and walk alongside people who want to go on their own healing journey with their trauma and remind them that trauma is not what has happened to them but how it affects them in the here and now. This then allows them to understand that this is not their fault and that some of their responses are ''normal'' due to the trauma they have experienced in life.
I strive to create a safe and compassionate space that allows people to explore their deepest and often darkest thoughts and feelings without judgement and make connections that offer understanding, kindness and compassion that will allow them to achieve meaningful change in their lives.

I offer a free 30 minute initial consultation to ensure you feel comfortable with me and that we will be a good fit.
Evidence-based research shows an association between weekly psychotherapy sessions and positive outcomes for clients, which is especially important in the first stage of therapy, when you are building rapport with your therapist and beginning to get to the core of things.
This also allows you, the client, to honour yourself and your healing process, and to set yourself up for the best possible outcome in therapy. It allows you to build momentum, emotional consistency, trust, and personal accountability.
If CBT is Your chosen modality, you will also be supported to set small goals and ‘’homework’’ tasks will be agreed between you and your therapist to help you practice and achieve the outcomes you desire.
In today's modern world, with many of us experiencing busy lives and hectic schedules, online psychotherapy offers a convenient and equally effective way to receive the support you need.
You can connect with me from the comfort of your own home, or workplace in a space where you feel safe and at ease.
Research has shown that online sessions are as impactful as traditional face-to-face therapy, enabling meaningful connections and significant personal growth through online zoom sessions or over the telephone at a time that suits you whilst removing the stress of having to navigate rush hour traffic or childcare commitments.
After your free initial consultation, sessions are completed at a cost of £50 and this cost is received via bank transfer 24 hours before your session is due to commence.
I politely request that all appointments are cancelled 48 hours prior to a session booking taking place, to allow other people to benefit from the session time allocated. You can of course reschedule at a time mutually agreed by both parties.
Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged at the full session rate. I shall always do my best to be flexible if someone is ill or there is a family emergency as I understand that life can be unpredictable but if possible 48 hours’ notice would be gratefully appreciated.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
You can also call me on +44 7541006868 if you would prefer to leave a message or speak to me first. I am happy to discuss any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment.
Please continue to have courage and be kind to yourself and I shall look forward to connecting with you soon.
All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services.
